SDET / QA Automation Engineer (Playwright, TypeScript)

Job description

We are seeking an experienced SDET / QA Automation Engineer to own end-to-end test automation for complex, integration-heavy enterprise applications, including Zuora (Billing) and Sitecore (CMS). The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on expertise in Playwright and TypeScript, with experience building scalable UI and API automation frameworks and leveraging Claude AI or similar LLM tools to improve testing efficiency and quality.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain robust UI and API test automation frameworks using Playwright and TypeScript.

• Create and maintain Cucumber/Gherkin feature files, scenarios, and step definitions following BDD practices.

• Configure and manage Allure Report for test execution reporting, failure analysis, and test trend visibility.

• Leverage Claude AI or equivalent LLM tools for test case generation, flaky test analysis, troubleshooting, and automation maintenance.

• Build and maintain automated test coverage for Zuora billing, subscription, and related business workflows.

• Validate complex end-to-end workflows and integrations across enterprise applications.

• Integrate automated test suites into CI/CD pipelines and ensure reliable execution across environments.

• Analyze automation failures, identify root causes, and collaborate with development teams for timely resolution.

Key Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in QA Automation / SDET roles, with strong hands-on automation development experience.

• Strong expertise in Playwright and TypeScript for both UI and API test automation.

• Hands-on experience with Cucumber, Gherkin, and BDD-based automation frameworks.

• Experience configuring and using Allure Report for automation reporting and analysis.

• Practical experience using Claude AI or equivalent LLM tools within software testing and automation workflows.

• Experience testing complex, integration-heavy enterprise applications and end-to-end business processes.

• Strong experience integrating automation suites with GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, Jenkins, GitLab CI, or similar CI/CD tools.

• Strong debugging, root cause analysis, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Skills

• Experience testing or automating Zuora Billing and subscription management workflows.

• Exposure to Sitecore CMS or similar enterprise content management platforms.

• Understanding of API testing, integration testing, and enterprise system workflows.

• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments and collaborating closely with Developers, Business Analysts, and Product teams.
