Professor Rana Nayar, a Ph.D. in English, a translator of poetry and short fiction from Punjabi to English, and also a theatre artist, visited us at the Closeloop Technologies India office and graced us with his presence along with a motivating speech that enlightened our minds and souls.

A critic, scholar, and translator, Prof. Rana Nayar is a pioneer in introducing a large number of classics from Punjabi literature.

Among the notable Punjabi authors, he has translated literary giants such as Gurdial Singh, and Beeba Balwant, among others.

"Night of the Half-moon" and "Parsa," two of Gurdial Singh's works, have been translated by him.

As our honorable guest, Professor Rana shared some words of wisdom with us, which inspired us to the core.

Talking about the work-life balance, he explained the importance of meeting our deadlines at work while still having time for our family and hobbies.

He also elucidated how crucial self-care is for us to maintain our productivity and stamina at work and gave us tips on creating such a state of equilibrium where we can equally prioritize our careers and our personal life demands.

He encouraged us to push ourselves toward a healthier lifestyle by prioritizing our physical and mental wellbeing over work responsibilities and not letting our desires to succeed take precedence over everything else.
