Salesforce Techno - Functional Consultant

Job description

We are seeking an experienced Techno-Functional Salesforce Consultant with a solid background in both technical development and functional business analysis. The ideal candidate will have over 8 years of hands-on experience in Salesforce implementations, including designing scalable solutions, customizing the platform, and driving end-to-end project delivery. This role demands strong technical expertise combined with the ability to understand business processes and align solutions to organizational goals. 

Responsibilities

Functional Responsibilities:

• Engage with stakeholders to gather and document business requirements, user stories, and workflows.

• Analyze business processes and recommend Salesforce solutions to improve efficiency and achieve business objectives.

• Provide functional expertise on Salesforce Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Marketing Cloud, and other Salesforce products.

• Act as a liaison between business users and the technical development team.

• Conduct training sessions and create user documentation to support adoption and usability.

Technical Responsibilities:

• Design and develop scalable Salesforce solutions using Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Web Components (LWC), and Salesforce APIs.

• Customize Salesforce configurations, including custom objects, workflows, process builder, and Flows.

• Lead integration efforts with third-party systems using REST/SOAP APIs and middleware platforms like Boomi.

• Ensure adherence to Salesforce best practices in data modeling, security, and system architecture.

• Manage data migration activities, including data mapping, cleansing, and validation.

Leadership and Project Management:

• Provide guidance to junior consultants and developers.

• Oversee project timelines, deliverables, and quality standards.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver successful project outcomes.

Key Qualifications

Must-Have:

• 8+ years of experience in Salesforce consulting, with a blend of technical development and functional expertise.

• Deep understanding of Salesforce features, capabilities, and limitations.

• Proficiency in Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Web Components (LWC), and SOQL.

• Strong knowledge of Salesforce configurations, Flows, and declarative tools.

• Experience with integration tools and middleware platforms.

• Familiarity with data migration tools like Data Loader, Jitterbit, or Informatica.

Educational Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

• Master’s degree or equivalent professional certifications are a plus.
