Job description
We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Accountant with 1–3 years of experience in managing
accounts, financial reporting and reconciliation processes. The ideal candidate should possess strong
knowledge of accounting principles.
Responsibilities
Quote & Sales Order Creation: Prepare and validate accurate quotes and sales orders in line with pricing, contracts, and approval policies.
Subscription Management: Manage subscription lifecycles including creation, amendments, renewals, and cancellations.
Revenue Recognition: Execute revenue recognition in compliance with accounting standards and company policies.
Billing & Invoicing: Maintain billing schedules and generate timely, accurate invoices for customers.
Deferred Revenue Accounting: Track, reconcile, and manage deferred revenue balances accurately.
Contract Review: Review customer contracts to ensure correct financial treatment and compliance.
Financial & Revenue Reporting: Prepare and analyze financial and revenue reports to support business and audit needs.
Key Qualifications
MBA (Finance) or B.Com from a recognized university.
1 - 3 years of proven experience in core accounting roles.
Proficiency in accounting software like NetSuite, Salesforce, Zuora will be an additional advantage.
Proficient in MS Office tools, especially Excel.
Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
Correspondences with customers
Understanding of Quote to Cash process
