Responsibilities
- Work closely with the VP of Engineering to drive technical initiatives, improve engineering efficiency, and optimize workflows.
- Oversee engineering resource planning, ensuring optimal allocation of engineers across projects.
- Enhance system performance by identifying inefficiencies and implementing process improvements.
- Track and manage engineering metrics, including system performance, team productivity, and project delivery timelines.
- Support infrastructure and IT operations, troubleshooting complex technical challenges and driving automation.
- Implement upskilling programs to align engineering teams with evolving industry standards.
- Collaborate with engineering leadership to define team structures, career growth frameworks, and technology adoption strategies.
- Conduct technical interviews and collaborate with HR to define hiring standards and evaluation criteria.
- Streamline engineering hiring operations, ensuring efficient onboarding and team integration.
- Develop talent retention strategies, performance tracking mechanisms, and mentorship programs.
- Facilitate cross-team collaboration, ensuring alignment between engineering, operations, and leadership teams.
Key Qualifications
- Strong background in software development and IT operations.
- Expertise in engineering workflows, system optimization, and technical project coordination.
- Experience working closely with senior leadership, especially the VP of Engineering.
- Experience in technical hiring, team structuring, and performance tracking.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to collaborate across multiple teams.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (e.g. MCA/B.Tech) required.
