Closeloop Technologies is seeking an experienced and visionary VP of Marketing to position our brand as a market leader in software industry and drive revenue growth through innovative marketing strategies. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in B2B demand generation, digital marketing, and analytics, with a strong understanding of the US market.
Responsibilities
1. Brand Positioning & Thought Leadership
- Define, refine, and own the company’s brand strategy and positioning across all marketing channels.
- Build and communicate a compelling brand narrative that differentiates us in a competitive market.
- QBRs, and strategic planning sessions with leadership.
- Oversee PR, media relations, and analyst engagement to enhance visibility.
- Develop a content strategy (blogs, whitepapers, webinars, podcasts) to reinforce thought leadership.
- Ensure a strong presence across social media and industry events.
2. Marketing Strategy & Demand Generation
- Develop and execute a comprehensive marketing strategy aligned with business goals.
- Define and implement go-to-market (GTM) strategies for IT services, software solutions, and products.
- Lead and mentor the marketing team to foster innovation and collaboration.
- Conduct market analysis to identify challenges and opportunities for growth.
- Develop a demand generation function to drive 70% of opportunities via marketing, targeting a $50M pipeline.
- Launch targeted lead generation campaigns (SEO, PPC, email, content marketing) to acquire high-quality leads.
- Implement Account-Based Marketing (ABM) strategies to engage enterprise clients.
- Optimize marketing automation tools (Zoho) for lead nurturing and pipeline acceleration.
- Track and optimize ROI on marketing initiatives for maximum conversions.
3. Digital Marketing & Performance Optimization
- Oversee SEO, SEM, PPC, and paid media strategies for organic and paid traffic growth.
- Optimize website, landing pages, and conversion funnels.
- Utilize data-driven insights, analytics, and A/B testing to refine digital strategies.
4. Define and Promote Unique Value Propositions
- Define and communicate unique value propositions (USPs) for IT services and software solutions.
- Collaborate with Sales and Engineering teams to create compelling messaging.
- Develop case studies, testimonials, and success stories to drive engagement.
- Conduct competitive analysis and market research to refine positioning strategies.
5. Budgeting, KPIs & Performance Management
- Manage the marketing budget effectively to ensure optimal resource allocation.
- Track and analyze KPIs (leads, MQLs, SQLs, conversion rates, CAC, LTV) for data-driven decision-making.
- Report marketing performance insights to C-level executives.
- Monitor competitor activities and provide actionable recommendations for improvement.
- Prioritize marketing initiatives and allocate resources for maximum impact.
Key Qualifications
- 10+ years of marketing experience in IT services/software development agency, with expertise in global marketing, digital marketing, and analytics.
- Strong skills in content creation, audience engagement, and branding.
- Deep understanding of marketing to the US market and aligning strategies with customer needs.
- Experience with marketing automation tools and CRM platforms.
- Ability to work cross-functionally with Sales and Engineering teams.
- Data-driven mindset with a strong focus on KPIs and ROI.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and strategic thinking skills.
