NetSuite Techno - Functional Consultant

Job description

Seeking an experienced NetSuite Functional Consultant to lead implementations, optimize processes, and customize NetSuite solutions. Responsibilities include workflow analysis, SuiteScript development, integrations, and data migration. Expertise in NetSuite ERP, CRM, WMS, and middleware tools is essential. Bachelor's degree required; advanced qualifications are a plus.

Responsibilities

Functional Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand their objectives and translate them into NetSuite solutions.

• Analyze and optimize business processes, including Order-to-Cash, Procure-to-Pay, Inventory Management, and Financial Management.

• Provide functional guidance on NetSuite modules such as ERP, CRM, and WMS.

• Conduct requirement gathering sessions and create detailed documentation, including BRDs and functional specifications.

• Train end-users and prepare system documentation to support successful adoption.

Technical Responsibilities:

• Customize and configure NetSuite to meet business requirements, including creating custom records, fields, workflows, and scripts.

• Develop SuiteScripts (1.0 and 2.0) to implement custom business logic and integrations.

• Lead integration efforts with third-party systems using SuiteTalk APIs, RESTlets, and middleware tools like MuleSoft or Celigo.

• Oversee data migration activities, including data mapping, validation, and import/export processes.

• Perform system performance optimization and resolve technical issues.

Project Leadership & Collaboration:

• Lead end-to-end NetSuite implementation and upgrade projects, ensuring alignment with best practices.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including finance, operations, and IT, to deliver scalable solutions.

• Provide technical and functional mentorship to junior team members and consultants.

• Manage project timelines, budgets, and deliverables while ensuring stakeholder satisfaction.

Key Qualifications

Technical Skills:

• Proficiency in SuiteScript 1.0 and 2.0, SuiteFlow, SuiteBuilder, and SuiteTalk API.

• Experience with JavaScript, SQL, and web technologies like HTML and XML.

• Strong knowledge of NetSuite data structures, customizations, and integrations.

• Familiarity with middleware tools like Dell Boomi, MuleSoft, or Celigo for system integrations.

Functional Skills:

• In-depth understanding of core business processes and how they translate into NetSuite workflows.

• Expertise in NetSuite ERP, CRM, and WMS modules.

• Ability to document and communicate functional requirements and collaborate with technical teams.

Education Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.

• Master’s degree or equivalent certifications are a plus.
